Who we are
Alchemy Pros is a marketing agency based in Salt Lake City, Utah, working with remodelers and custom home builders across Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Front. This policy covers alchemypros.com and the ways you can contact us through it. It does not cover the client portal, which is a separate service with its own terms and privacy policy.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form we receive what you type: your name, company, email address, phone number if you include it, the kind of work you do, and your message. When you call or email us we receive the details you share in that conversation.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records basic technical details when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and the time of your visit. We use Google Analytics for this. It sets cookies or similar identifiers in your browser so that repeat visits can be counted. We also log a few interactions that tell us whether the site is working, such as a tap on the phone number or a form that was sent.
We do not collect payment details through this site, and we do not ask for information we do not need.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and talk with you about your business.
- To keep a record of our conversations if we end up working together.
- To understand which pages are useful and to improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and to detect automated abuse of the form.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising on other sites.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run this site, and they process data on our behalf:
- Hosting. The site is served by Vercel, which keeps short-lived server logs that include IP addresses.
- Contact form. Form submissions pass through FormSubmit, a form-processing service that delivers the message to our inbox.
- Analytics. Google Analytics, provided by Google, processes the usage data described above. Google's own privacy policy explains how it handles that data.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and, if we work together, for the length of the engagement and the records we are required to keep afterward. Analytics data is retained according to the settings in our Google Analytics account.
Your choices
- You can contact us without the form by phone.
- You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
- Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact details are below.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and the information you send through the form is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
